Maastricht Calendar The day of the ‘Drunk Bands’, starting off at 11.45 hrs with a collective concert at their monument on the Vrijthof, followed by concerts all around the centre.

The last evening, again ‘cramignon’ = dancing in the streets, but gathering on the Vrijthof towards midnight. The Prince has to reliquish his power, along with his sceptre and cap, the Mooswief is lowered from her pole and carted off. That’s it, the end. We hug and kiss and cry a little, then most trudge home, happy and exhausted.
