Julia Hermann: “I’m Julia and I’ve been living in Maastricht for 4 years now. At the moment, I’m about to finish my studies of Arts and Culture. For the upcoming academic year, I am planning on doing my masters in Arts and Heritage and sharing the Maastricht-experience with everyone who wants to join in!”
Yaren Kasoglu: “Hey everyone! My name is Yaren and I am a second year European Law student. I love living in Maastricht and I am proud to be a member of this team. I hope we can all feel like a true ‘Maastrichtenaar’ one day! ”
Lucy Willems: “Meet Maastricht is the latest chapter in my lifelong habit of welcoming people to ‘my town’ – I am a native, have lived here most of my life, know the city like the back of my hand and keep making new discoveries. So join me in exploring the old and new, the familiar and surprising and everything Maastricht has to offer.”
Maria Vatista: “Hello and welcome to Meet Maastricht. My name is Maria Vatista, originally from Greece. I have studied Archaeology and History of Art at the University of Athens and I have been trained as museum educator by the Hellenic Children’s Museum in Athens. I have organized and implemented educational activities as freelancer but also in cooperation with cultural organizations such as Stavros Niarchos Foundation.
For the academic year 2016-2017, I moved in the lovely city of Maastricht as I was enrolled in the master program Arts and Heritage: Policy, Management and Education. My huge interest in heritage and culture, but also my passion to work with audiences led me to join with great pleasure Meet Maastricht’s team.”
